1. Scope and responsible party

ChatGPT Exporter is an independent browser extension that helps users export their selected ChatGPT conversations to files. The publishing brand is ilkerStudioDev. Contact: ilkerstudiodevsupport@gmail.com.

2. How conversation content is processed

The extension examines accessible messages, images and attachment links in the open ChatGPT conversation only when the user presses “Scan this conversation.” Conversation text and exported documents are processed in the user's browser and are not sent to the ChatGPT Exporter membership/quota server. Loading conversations and retrieving attachments may involve communication with ChatGPT using the user's own session. Access to every image or interactive element cannot be guaranteed.

3. Information processed

• Local content: Selected conversation messages, titles, accessible images or attachments, export preferences and temporary scan records may be processed in the extension's local IndexedDB/Chrome storage.
• Accounts: If a user optionally registers, their email address, Firebase user identifier and sign-in/verification information are processed through Firebase Authentication and Cloudflare for account verification.
• Usage and quotas: Random guest/account identifiers, hashed session values, export counts and timestamps, and transaction records may be held in Cloudflare D1. Technical cookies may be used to associate guest sessions.
• Payments: When paid subscriptions are enabled, Paddle provides the checkout. Subscription status, transaction identifiers and plan identifiers may be held on the membership server. Full payment card numbers and CVC are not sent to the extension's membership server.
• Infrastructure: Providers such as Firebase, Cloudflare and Paddle may process technical connection logs (for example IP address, device/browser information) as part of service and security operations.

4. Purposes and sharing

Information is used to export conversations, verify accounts, enforce export quotas, manage subscription entitlements and protect the service. Conversation text is not used for targeted advertising and is not sold to advertisers. Required account and payment information may be shared with the providers identified above as needed to operate the service.

5. Retention and deletion

Users can clear the most recently saved scan in the extension's Privacy and Troubleshooting section. Removing the extension may clear local storage in Chrome, but it does not automatically delete Cloudflare account or usage records. Access, correction and deletion requests may be submitted to the support address. Some transactional records may need to be retained for security, recordkeeping or legal obligations. Retention depends on the purpose, security requirements and applicable law; requests are assessed through support.

6. Security and user control

The extension is designed to scan conversations only when initiated by a user. Account sign-in is optional. Exported files are saved to a destination chosen by the user, who is responsible for any subsequent sharing. Absolute security cannot be guaranteed for any internet service.

7. Children, updates and contact
